I noticed that one of my editors was posting comments on a few threads and then I noticed that he was NOT a member. So I asked myself "How'd he DO dat?"
Simple answer - with out logging in as a member, anyone can click on reply and type a reply and when it is time to post it you will be asked to supply a "user name" and then you will get the annoying "captcha" screen that asks you prove you are human by entering some information in the box..........and sometimes it is a QUIZ based on a REALLY annoying video..............
Thus you can remain ANONYMOUS! And while I welcome discussion and dissent, differing opinions and Op Ed differences, I can (and will) moderate out all disrespectful, hateful and pointedly insulting drivel. Please note that I did not include the word TRIVIAL in the previous sentence.........because in the abstract, isn't this whole endeavor a bit trivial?

By the way - my aforementioned Editor has almost NO sense of humor (I mean he can be a REAL dour old stick!!) and has entirely missed any (childish?) mirth engendered by his use of the pseudonym "Doctor Proctor". He chose it because he was a proctor when I was up at university and has been a driving force in my (un)professional career............... I've known him a VERY VERY long time............ and it is STILL difficult to get a smile out of him........ not that I have stopped trying, mind.
